    Outlook 2007 links no longer open


    I recently installed an update to Windows Security Essentials and ever since I can no longer open links contained in my Outlook 2007 emails. In an effort to correct the problem I completely uninstalled Windows Security Essentials but that did not solve the problem. When trying to open an email hyperlink I get the following Outlook 2007 error message, "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."

    I am the only user on this computer and I have administrator rights.

    This is what I have found. If true, a simple system restore from before the problem, will solve it

    This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.

    System Restore

    Be sure to pick a date way before the problem, several days

Outlook 2007 Blocking Links

I have found this morning that Outlook 2007 is blocking all links to web pages. I haven't changed any settings so what could have happened? Any help please? I am attaching below the message I get and I am the administrator.
When I write emails in Outlook 2007 and write a link it looks like it is not active but when I read the email after sending, I can see that the link is active since it is underlined www.example.link but when I write it it is not underlined www.example.link Why is that and how can I change it...
For some reason, suddenly, I can't seem to open links inside emails that I get in Outlook 2007 due to some security restrictions that I can't find or are unaware of. Anyone know how to correct this?
I installed the security update for IE, KB980182. After the reboot, I went to a SevenForums email notification and clicked on the URL link. I got an error message that Outlook failed to send the message. I should have snipped that error box; but I did not. I tried several others with the same...
