    I know the feeling

I just noticed the 'update ready' turned into 10.6. I was expecting just another 10.5x update.

For anyone that has customized their Speed Dial with thumbnails, they probably noticed that a change in 10.60 causes the images to fill their windows in a fashion that may distort or crop them in a fashion that is not pleasing. The solution is to add more windows. I went from 60 to 98 to cause them to conform to my original dimensions. This is not a perfect solution, but an acceptable one.

The only problem that I have with Opera 10.6 is when I double click on the Speed Dial screen, it no longer goes to the homepage; nothing happens. The previous version went to the homepage.

No problem for me, because I never use it, but that's easy enough to offset by adding a Home button on the interface.

    hi!

one warning: if you want to keep your previous version when you install 10.6,
then download the CLASSIC installer, otherwise you can´t choose where to install, which means it overwrites the previous version.

    i just found out...

i had to reinstall 10.54, and then install 10.6 again, this time using the CLASSIC installer.
    now i have both versions.

    a tip: Opera´s settings are in C:\Users\*USERNAME* \AppData\Roaming\Opera\

    as i have 2 versions, under C:\Users\HACKER 2\AppData\Roaming\Opera\
    there are 2 folders: "Opera 10.5" & "Opera 10.6"

if you want the same settings on both versions then copy the file operaprefs.ini
in my example above: from "Opera 10.5" to "Opera 10.6".

NOTE: exit Opera 10.6 BEFORE you copy that file !

Works great for Linux Mint 9. It has been a while since they updated the Linux version.

It also got auto updated for me a few hours ago. Opera has mentioned 50% improve from 10.5 version or something similar in the changelog. BTW it seems a bit faster than the previous version when I checked opening websites. But not sure 50% or something as they mentioned. :P

    hi !

i just ran 2 tests on Peacekeeper: Peacekeeper - The Browser Benchmark from Futuremark Corporation

    Opera 10.54 = 1060
    Opera 10.60 = 1649

so 10.60 is 55% faster, on MY computer.
