Windows 7: browser for windows 7

The 4 main ones I would say would be Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Chrome, I've used all and more. I absolutely dislike Internet Explorer, its messy and lags in my opinion. Firefox was definitely revolutionary, and as I have not played with the most recent version I could not tell you, all I know is the Add-ons for it make it very useful. Opera on the other hand has about 1 thing going for it, Speed Dial. It uses JVE (java virtual environment) instead of a Java Plug-in and I've had nothing but trouble trying to do basic things using java ie. games etc. To be honest I use and love Chrome, I'm not a big fan of the aesthetic aspect, the themes not very nice, BUT it does in fact give a much larger viewing area. It's neat and clean and simple.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion, but Opera has a lot more going for it than just it's Speed Dial. It's other unique features may not be of interest to you, or you may just not know about them, but if you are happy with Chrome, that's fine with me, but as far as viewing area, nothing is larger than Opera's full screen view.

You're absolutely correct on the opinion thing, as for its other features, I used opera every day for well over a year, it definitely has many different tools, like it's built in torrent manager for example, I believe it has RSS built in, etc. But, out of all speed dial is the only thing that sticks out in memory, I mainly dislike it because JVE is flawed on a lot of "every day" things people do.

I cannot agree more on that statement. Browsers are a matter for personal preference and so it is hard to point out which is the best. For me, I may be biased towards Firefox as I use a lot of addons which firefox uses. And I am also a web developer and firefox also helps in that. I also like the security of firefox especially after using noscript. For me it will perhaps remain firefox forever but in terms of speed many users have reported Chrome and Opera to be faster than Firefox.

And from my personal experience, Firefox takes a bit longer to load for the first time but after that it is nearly as fast as Chrome or Opera. If you know the proper firefox addons you might skip many software as the addons in firefox provides several functions of at least many smaller software. I would still recommend Firefox but maybe I cannot come out of the Firefox so easily.

Google Chrome is considered to be the best browser in speed. It is a good browser and I use it most of the time.

I'v got IE which is ok.. but not that great.

Safari is a new browser I'v downloaded, I haven't spent time testing it but it is a good one to try out.
I consider Chrome to be best and Internet Explorer = Death Fail.

Safari on glance has a similar interface to Chrome, but both are extremely different.

Chrome is the best! No matter how many extension you have, it won't slow you down!

Another avid chrome user here but like most say it is a matter of preference.
