    Windows Live Alerts

How do I unsubscribe from the items listed on this page: Welcome to Windows Live . I can turn the the notifications "off", but I also want to "unsubscribe". I clicked the "unsubscribe" buttons but they don't seem to do anything but take me to a new page with no unsubscribe option.

After further research I may have found a solution to the annoying alerts:
http://alerts.live.com/alerts/UserUnsubscribe.aspx. That appears to be an unpublished url exposed thanks to questions previously asked by others to completely stop all alerts. It still doesn't say how to unsubscribe only from Microsoft Answers Forums and Windows Live Calendar.

This is a thread where poster had same issue, suggest you post there and see if they can handle your issue personally, like they apparently did for the original poster:

    Unsubscribe WL Alerts

That's where I got the link I posted originally for all alerts. Apparently it doesn't work either according to subsequent posts. Are you saying the only way to unsubscribe from either a single subscription or to all subscriptions must be done on an individual basis with a personal request to Microsoft? I'm not looking for a personal solution, but rather a general, open, and published procedure that everyone knows about.

I'm saying that poster had the same problem as you. He did the correct published steps and still got alerts as you apparently do. They asked him to contact them so they could look into it for him. Otherwise, everything I could find says you have done everything you should. Sorry. A Guy
