    Odd Firefox problem

My Firefox is acting extremely weird; when I try to go to a website, it just says "untitled" on the tab, as if it were a new tab. I can't visit any sites on it, but Chrome still works fine. Anyway, I have Firefox 3.6.7, which I'm pretty sure is a beta.

As a firefox beta tested, as far as I know there isnt a 3.6.7. There is a 3.6.6b4.

We need more info. 32bit or 64? clean install or upgrade on firefox?

Well, first of all, I have a 32 bit upgrade install. Firefox 3.6.6 was finalized a few days ago, and the beta for 3.6.7 was released today. https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_3.6.7

A security software such as your firewall could be blocking Firefox without informing you about that, maybe after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox

So, how do I do that? Is it Windows Firewall or my anti-virus firewall?

Nice and thanks. Have you tried crating a new profile to see if the problem is global or unique to the profile?

    No, I haven't, so I'll try that.

    Update: it didn't work.

Could be either, are you using the windows firewall AND a 3rd party firewall?

In any case, see this page on how to configure commonly used firewalls for mozilla apps.

Also this, if the page loads.

Well, I removed it from my firewall and it still didn't work right.

After removing them, you need to add Firefox again to the exceptions list. Did you do that?
