Windows 7: Does anyone else experience this, and is there a fix?

I downloaded the new Firefox 4 beta today (it's awesome, by the way) and I wanted to try out the new D2D acceleration. I found out how, so I enabled it. The tabs seem to load kind-of slow, and the GUI looks choppy. It's like clear-type isn't enabled either. I know that this feature isn't supported just yet, but is there a known fix to this problem? Is it normal for this to happen at this stage?

If you want to try it for yourself go to about:config. Enter "render" into the filter bar.



Double click "gfx.font_rendering.enabled" to make it true. Then, double click "mozilla.widget.render-mode" and restart Firefox.
I hope that isn't too confusing to read because I can word things weird sometimes.
