    Remove Favorite sort by...

I use Mobleme to sync my Windows 7 desktop, my iphone, and my XP netbook. Since I updated my mobileme software my internet explorer favorite list arranges itself on both my computers. I have my favorites sorted in a particular way and this keeps getting removed. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

My favorites are listed in sort by name... is there a way to remove this choice?

    Welcome

I have seen a similar problem and it was solved this way. Make a new folder, call it my favs or anything you like.

Put all your favs in that folder set in any order thay you like. They should not be touched.

In win 7 the there are the special folders (blue) with certain attributes... won't creating a new folder mess this up?

When you click on favorites to make a new one you are given the option to make a new folder. If it is an option how can it be a problem? If you know something that I do not dont do it. But I have about 10 favorites not in a folder and about 100 more in about 5 folders.

hmmm. just to clarify its the list order in Internet explorer that keeps gettting rearranged... not the folder that holds the files/subfolders

I think that I understand When you are online, top of the page you see favorites. You click on it and you see all your favorites. I see about 10 favorites and about 5 folders (that I made) inside those folders are my additional favorites. In my case one says travel, another computer etc.

Seriously, if you have any doubts or concers do not take my advice. I always give the best advice that I know how, but still I could misunderstand or even be mistaken.

What I suggest is that you wait a bit, others will come along and agree or disagree with me, at least you have a basis to work on.
