is there a way for firefox to not zoom in every page?

hey on my windows 7 laptop firefox does not do it at all but on my windows xp desktop that i have just fixed and restored it seems to zoom in to much in a page is there a way to fix this?

I'm not sure what you mean by "zoom in". Can you post a screenshot?

i have to use the "bottom" or "sideways scroll bar" anyway heres a screen shot

As it is, Firefox is not zooming it....you just have a tiny old man resolution... O.O
...800x600?! Ouch...

Control Panel>>Display>>Adjust Resolution

Your monitor will do 1024x768 at 68 Hz. While most people would find that quite restrictive, it will work for simple things like email and the web.

Since you just set up the computer, have you installed your video and monitor driver yet?

Firefox (Nightly 9.0a1) Zoom setting is different on each tab.

Firefox 4.0.1 new tab/ home page
When I open a new tab it comes up blank. Windows 7 64. A search on the net shows people recommending plugins etc to 'fix' this issue. Why? Firefox recently updated itself to 4.0.1...prior to that I opened up new tabs that opened up as my home page. So anyone know what's up with it now?

Hi,when i view playstation eu forums in firefox everything on the page is really big,it only does it on that page everything else is ok,its also ok in IE 9,it seems to have started after i cleared my history etc with ccleaner,does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be.thank you.

Fonts - Page & Zoom
How in the world do you get windows 7 to give a reasonable size font and DT icons? I cant believe they would have designed this system so you would have to adjust the "Page" items of fonts Largest to Small and then make you use a Zoom feature to adjust the screens. All I want is what I had in XPS...
