    Hi all
    Hope u can help ppl...
I'm running this system over a year, no similar problems...
Now, yesterday computer went to sleep, and i couldn't wake him
So i forced restart and on logon i got the bsod just on welcome screen

Just to be clear read many similar problems, none really were helpful...
Now im running safe mode with networking, normal save mode i get BSOD..
I did try to opet my default Chrome in that mode and also got BSOD...
    So now im in IE
One other thing i remembered, some ppl reported on BSOD mentions od driver_ something... I just had STOP and some crazy hex address reference...

I will provide the dmp-s and the rest, so i hope u can help

    Hello,

Start by updating the iastor driver itself; that can be done by updating your chipset drivers: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...=2842&lang=eng

It is worth running hard drive diagnostics, for this one. Run the Short DST and Long DST tests in SeaTools.

It doesn't sound completely like it, but I am wondering if you are possibly infected with a nasty bug that's been causing problems lately. Run the Kaspersky TDSS Killer tool, and see if it finds anything.

All that directly relates to the bugchecks I am seeing; now on to the more generic advice.

I see SPTD is running; it is a component of Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. SPTD has been causing BSODs on thousands (if not more!) of systems running Vista or Windows 7. At this time, there is no known fix, other than to remove SPTD.

If the above suggestions do not work, uninstall Daemon Tools. When that is done, remove SPTD itself with this tool: http://www.duplexsecure.com/download...t-v174-x64.exe

An old version of ESET is running:
    Code:
    eamon.sys Thu May 14 09:30:49 2009 (4A0C1D09)
    ehdrv.sys Thu May 14 09:32:02 2009 (4A0C1D52)
That version has caused some BSODs, so update it to the latest version here: Best Free Antivirus Software Trial: Free Home, Business and Gaming Download from ESET

Your Realtek ethernet drivers are a few versions out of date:
    Code:
    Rt64win7.sys Wed Jun 23 05:10:45 2010 (4C21CF95)
    Install these updated ones: Realtek

Post back if you need help with anything!

It's sounding more like that rootkit. Boot to the Windows repair disc or installation DVD, and select "Repair my computer". Open a command prompt, and enter the following commands:
    Code:
    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /fixboot
Reboot, and see if that does the trick. If you're able to get into Windows, run that Kaspersky tool; I suspect the problem will be gone, but it may pay off to check anyway.

See if the problems persist after this clean install; hopefully it won't return!

There is a virus going around, it's known to infect the iastor file. Perhaps you had that, and the clean install fixed it.

Whatever it was, glad it's fixed now. I'll ask the mods to mark this as solved, if you need more help in this thread, just post.
