BSOD when plugged into a monitor
Hey Everyone,
So, to start at the beginning, I have been having issues with my laptop being connected to a monitor. It will BSOD on me and reboot from a 'bugcheck'
"The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0x0000000000000008, 0x0000000080050031, 0x00000000000406f8, 0xfffff80003644e88). A dump was saved in: C:\windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 071711-26395-01."
This only happens when I have it plugged into a monitor. I can leave it running for a week or more without it rebooting, but as soon as I have it plugged into an external Monitor it will BSOD and reboot. (for example, had it plugged in for two hours today, went downstairs came back to a login screen).
I went to update drivers with device manager but it said I have the most up to date version. ATI's driver site said its newest driver bundle isn't compatible as it redirected me to AMD.
After googling the errors I found in here that it could be a memory issue, so started Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. It got through the entire first test and around 70% of the 2nd test when it shut my laptop down. I thought maybe I had unplugged the power but no, it had shut it down. I ran it again and same result.
my laptop specs are:

Oh, and I was playing Dragon Age II Demo and it made my laptop turn off too, without being plugged into a monitor (or in my case, 32" FHD LCD)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I haven't done a clean install just yet as I haven't backed up my data.
