Computer Freezing up at Windows Splash Screen before login .

I have a 2 month old Lenovo with Win7 Home Premuim. When the Windows Splash screen comes up, the PC Freezes. After about an hour i can login with no issues, but the event viewer shows many errors. the error is:

windows event id 7001 The Computer Browser service depends on the Server service which failed to start because of the following error: The dependency service or group failed to start.

I can also boot into Safe Mode just fine immediately after the freeze.

    For the services, if you
    • open the Start Menu and type Services into the Search programs and files, you will get a few options.
    • Right click on the option with gears as the icon and Run as administrator.
    • Right click any services that are complaining that their dependencies are not running (the services I put in bold within your post quote).
    • Click Properties.
    • Go to the Dependencies tab, and in the first box, a list of services that service depends on will be given.
    • Write down the services that need to start for dependencies to be resolved.
    • Make sure these services are all set to start automatically by
      • right clicking those services,
      • clicking properties,
      • going to the General tab,
      • and making the Startup type is Automatic.

You're welcome. Keep us updated how the system responds over the next few days or if you need any help.
