BSOD after exiting Star Trek Online, DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, 0x9F

    Greetings everyone,
Recently I start having random DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE BSODs generally after exiting Star Trek Online. I used to have a TDR 0x116 BSOD error which I solved by reverting to a previous version of my GPU driver and deactivating the TDR from registry.
The new 0x9F error happens randomly, yet not while playing the game, generally few minutes after exiting the game. Any idea which driver/program can be the source for this error.
Thank you in advance for the help!

Hi Gsutac, welcome to the Seven Forums.

Your crash dumps are pointing towards both NVidia display drivers and DirectX. Please update your display drivers from NVidia's site Welcome to NVIDIA - World Leader in Visual Computing Technologies, and DirectX from Download: DirectX End-User Runtime - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details.

I just tried to update the DirectX as instructed but i receive the following message: "DirectX setup has determined that a newer or equivalent version of directX has been installed already. No installation is necessary."

OK, forget it. Did you update the GPU drivers?

I had them updated to the last version, today i rolled them back, as I used to receive the TDR 0x116 BSOD and rolling back the drivers was one of the advices I found on Alienware forums ...
