Run a short and long tests with Seagate Tools, and then use the Disk Check program with both tick boxes enabled:

Scan and attempt to repair corrupted Windows files by using:

Run a full scan with any AV suite you have installed (I see you have AVG installed) and also with:

Remember not to run both anti-virus programs at the same time, as it will cause conflicts and will cause more problems.

We have already established you have no problems with your memory from earlier tests in the thread (MemTest86+).

I ran checkdisk on C, and there were no errors. Will try the rest and the Seagate tool tomorrow. but FYI I tried Driver Verifier again. I managed to set it up properly, and it seems to be working!

Just got a BSOD of DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION. The files are attached. Any ideas?

OK, restarting the PC gives me BSOD of DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION. The files are attached (I got this error 5 times in a row when rebooting).

Files attached. Only luckily managed to get into Windows, and I quickly disabled Driver Verifier !!

Just FYI, I've turned Driver Verifier off to stop any more BSOD's (so I can play COD! :) )

    Code:
    DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION (c9)

    Probably caused by : InputFilter_FlexDef2b.sys ( InputFilter_FlexDef2b+1c30 )

     Image path: \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\InputFilter_FlexDef2b.sys
        Image name: InputFilter_FlexDef2b.sys
        Timestamp: Sat Jun 19 01:36:01 2010 (4C1C10F1)
    STOP 0x000000C9: DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION

    InputFilter_FlexDef2b.sys - Driver Reference Table

According to the DRT (see above link), your keyboard driver seems to be corrupted, I would check for updates first and post back results.

You also had the STOP 0x00000050 and STOP 0x0000000A on two other occasions; so try the other suggestions for those two BSODs after dealing with the keyboard driver.

I think that driver is actual for a cheap (£4) wireless mouseI bought...uninstalled it via Device Manager now. Will try the rest.

Okay good, and wouldn't you mouse need a driver to be able to be used?

I have a wired and wireless mouse, I use the wired for normal use then the wireless when I'm laying in bed watching something on the PC :)

Just crashed again, despite the drivers being uninstalled Details attached.

Just got another crash, but this time it showed:

    page_fault_in_nonpaged_area (win32k.sys)

It never normally has that in brackets? Files uploaded.

    Code:
    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)

    BugCheck D1, {fffff840186b866b, 2, 8, fffff840186b866b}

    Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KiPageFault+260 )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
I noticed that it crashed on a AVG file:

    Code:
    PROCESS_NAME: avgcsrva.exe
    Avgcsrva.exe file information

One of the usual causes for the previous two BSODs, was according to the BSOD Index, the virus scanner program being used, therefore I recommended uninstalling AVG using the offical AVG uninstaller (AVG Uninstaller) and then installing:

Both provide great protection, I would recommend using Microsoft Security Essentials, however it is not supported within Windows 8, but Windows Defender has been designed to provide the same protection as MSE.

Have you performed the additional hard-drive tests and scanned with the System File Checker?

    Looking at next BSOD
