Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit Crashes

    Hi

I've recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit build 7600 on my pc. I've installed the most recent drivers, from their manufacturer websites, for my graphics card and sound card. All other drivers are Windows installed

Windows crashes when playing Mass Effect 2. Somtimes after 1 to 2 minutes, sometimes longer.

Description of crashes: These have all happened more than once.

    1. The game will freeze with the lots of horizontal lines accross the screen in the same sort of colors as the last scene in te game. The sound also freezes (horrible when you've got your headphones on). When this particular crash happens I have to reset my PC.

    2. The PC will suddenly reset.

    Here are my specs

    Intel Core2 Quad Q9400
    2GB Corsair RAM
    ATI Radeon HD 5750
    Foxconn P43AL Motherboard
    600W Coolermaster PSU
    500 GB SATA Hard Drive

All parts are less than 3 months old

    Any assistance would be appreciated
