Error 41 Kernal Power BSOD desperate for help!

My Acer laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate has started to crash to BSOD and auto reboot on a fairly regular basis.. I have attached the minidump as instructed - any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hambo hi and welcome

These nine were fairly easy. Most point to some hardware problem and specifically to memory.
To test yours;

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

You also have some seriously old drivers that need updating. See the list below.

Let us know if you need assistance

Ken

How To Find Drivers:
Quote:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

First of all, please run system file check:
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

You have some really out of date drivers, please update them now:
Code:
fffff880`049b2000 fffff880`049ca000 winbondcir winbondcir.sys Wed Mar 28 12:50:09 2007 (460A0211)
fffff880`0528d000 fffff880`0529b000 SiLib SiLib.sys Wed Feb 07 06:13:54 2007 (45C90BB2)
fffff880`0495b000 fffff880`049b2000 rixdpx64 rixdpx64.sys Sat Nov 18 11:07:46 2006 (455E8712
fffff880`04800000 fffff880`04876000 ayjecr58 ayjecr58.SYS Thu Mar 27 19:24:50 2008 (47EB9212)
Third party antivirus software is known for causing BSODs. Please remove ENod set32 completely for testing purpose, then replace by Microsoft security essential for protection
How to uninstall or remove ESET Nod32 antivirus totally?
http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Finally, almost all of the crash dump point to memory corruption, Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Looks like SPTD.sys is the issue. Please remove Daemon Tools or whatever other CD virtualization program you are using.

Run this STPD installer/uninstaller to completely remove SPTD when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

EDIT: I see ttran posted first.
