Hello Tews,
See that you're a fellow Floridian at least for now. Since this is the first time I've turned it on, it may be a while. Could you simply cliff note type of description of what info you could obtain from it. As I am interested and have no idea. I was told due to my proclivities to stay away from the Event Viewer as it will distress me with stuff that might not require distress for a week. Obviously I've only lasted a day or two.
I have issues in the Event Viewer/Administrative Event log that are happening daily. But outwardly, I don't think I would notice any difference if I hadn't seen those dang events. I was running 10 on reliability for several days and then additions of certain software dropped me back to like 5 twice and I'm only about 6 or 7 now. Again, I see no problems that I can discern in the operation of the computer. I am annoyed since the only way I know how to get back to the 10 state is to go way back (most of a days)work because other than the original System Image I made with none of my data doesn't have SuperAntispyware or the results of other program trials. I've done it before and I'll do it again if necessary. But all I see are the events and don't understand most of them. One was I couldn't get rid of SuperAntiSpyware without Revo Pro.
Well thanks for you offer and any info you care to impart. I appreciate you and the Captain's time.

Gentlemen,
At this moment, I do not have the strength to fight this machine. Since it is evincing no outward signs, I will attempt to enjoy the opulent splendor of the OS. When strength returns or symptom's amplify, I will follow those instructions and start a new thread. I thank you again, I'm a step closer. I am just the type though to let this bother me into availing myself of your help. That is why I was previously warned to not look at the Event Viewer for a week. I am going to endeavor to follow those instructions first.
This isn't the last you'll hear from me

Personally, if you arent having a specific issue that effects the performance of your machine, I wouldnt worry to much about it... The event logs, as with the .dmp files, are used to pinpoint causes for problems with the performance of your system.. As long as you are happy with the way Windows is running, relax and enjoy it..
Gentlemen,
Obviously sound advice. Now if I will only take it . Eventually I will not tolerate any aberrant behavior. I'll give an example, I was looking at maybe perfmon or somewhere and it said that Windows did not see an antivirus program and I must turn off the monitoring if I do have one.
When I looked in Security it showed not only the antivirus programs that are running but the ones that aren't running. Why, I don't know. But for a while I'll bask in the glow of popping up minimized programs on my taskbar and looking at them visually without opening them. Thanks again, talk at ya later.

Can't help myself! Had to look at Adminstrative Events. There were no events at all after I used the fix you guys led me to. Fingers crossed. Thanks again.
