    Freeze when viewing flash

After a clean and fresh install of Win7x64 my system freezes when i watch flash videos.

    CPU: q9450
    4 Gigs of Ram

When i start to watch the video, my CPU heats up rapidly and the cpu fan accelerates. Then i get the freeze!

EDIT: Actually it just happens with this video: http://www.gamestar.de/index.cfm?pid=1589&pk=14398

This sounds like a heat issue.. Download CPUZ and let us know what your temps are...

    CPUZ
    I use CoreTemp:

    Core0:50
    Core1:46
    Core2:45
    Core3:45

When watching the flash video, shortly before the freeze, temps go up to 70 degrees celsius.

I just tried to copy 90 GB of data to my external HD - freeze. But, the temp. didnt rise this time!

It does look like a heat issue. Open the side of your case, if you have a desktop, and blow out the dust with some compressed air. If you have a laptop, blow out the air vents.

If you have a desktop, aim a fan inside at the motherboard. If you have a laptop, consider purchasing a cooling pad.

I did all that already. The system is usually cool enough.

Is watching flash videos the only time you have this problem?

As I sad, I also got the freeze when copying large amounts of data from/to my external HD. Also it sometimes freezes at the startup (welcome screen).

You can perform a disk check:
    Disk Check
Then download HD diagnostic from manufacture site and test your hard drive:
    HD Diagnostic

I think it's possible, try it
