explorer.exe crash when I right click eveytime !!

    explorer.exe crash when I right click eveytime !!


    i m using win7 ultimate version
    when i right click each drivers on the navigation panel on the left, explorer crash and restart itself everytime , how can i fix this problem? i've already install all the latest windows updates... and i guess it's nothing to do with my kis 2011, cuz i've tried to disable the anti-virus program and quit , but still explorer crashed....

    someone could suggest me what to do ? thanx

    This helped me and it might help you. sfc /scannow. Notice the space between the (c) and the (/). This is a system file checker. There will be more post, some people are still on there first cup of coffee.

    and i've tired check disks but doesn't help

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ ContextMenuHandlers
    i deleted all of them right now ...

    You may have to do a repair install Repair Install

    Hi impc. The coffee thing means that some of our members might of just got up out of bed and are having there first cup of coffee and have not got online yet to read your post.
    Do you have a restore point before this problem started, if so use it. Your first post stated you have used windows update. That should of made a restore point.

    ahh i c the coffee point

    sadly i disabled the restore function so cannot backwards...

    till now explorer still crashed

    what graphics card are you using? there have been issues with nvidia context menu handlers and Windows 7.
