Task scheduler error
can any one help with this error its when i open up the task scheduler
I think your error is unrelate to my article.Make sure you have in "Folder Options" checked "Show hidden files and folders" or better way use any 3p file manager i.e Total Commander and empty folder C:\Windows\system32\Tasks,if problem repeat you have to diagnose which one soft cause this problem - you have to chek in event viewer>>Application section...
Go to Start>>Search>>services.msc and make sure Performance Logs & Alerts service is set to manual and try to run it manually.
EDIT
If Performance Logs & Alerts service work fine and stiill you have this problem then remove the folder C:\Perflogs

Did you delete folder C:\PerfLogs as I said in my previous post? I edited my previous post and I don't know you noticed it...
do i delete the folder and its contents(if so where do the reports go?) or just the content? i removed all the schedule's in task schedule and tried that but that did not work so i put them back (its quite easy you export them to a folder for safe keeping then import them back.)
