RTSTOR.sys is a Realtek card reader driver. Go here to update it: Realtek

To get more info, please upload your msinfo32 file:

Enter msinfo32.exe into the start menu, and press enter. Go to File>Save, and save a copy on your desktop. Right-click on it, and select Send to>New compressed folder. Then attach the file to your next post.

    Hi Carl ,

How do I remove it . I dont know if i am using RAID or not . How do I update that ? Is there a way I can do that.

    Thanks,
    Ruchi
For now, let's just concentrate on updating the RAID drivers that are in the list. That is the way you update it.

I removed Norton 2009 but every time I am restarting the system I get an error DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION
    RTSTOR64.SYS

thanks, for your help team .. u guys are really very very helpful
For now, while you are updating the drivers, turn Driver Verifier off. We may turn it back on later.

When you typed msinfo32.exe in the search box in the Start menu it did not show up at the very top of that search box listed under programs?

Try manually opening msinfo32.exe from the location C:\Windows\System32.
