    System_service_exception bsod.

    Hello.

I keep getting a BSOD saying SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and can't find the reason.

I have been running memtest and it reports that the memory are ok.
It's a complete new motherboard, new cpu and new memorys on a new installed
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I had some other bsod saying memoy_management but they went a way when i set the voltage for memory to 1.65 (as they where specified for) but i still get the SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXEPTION once a day. (sometimes at boot )

Can some one give me a clue on what the problem could be?

    Hi and welcome to SF!

Stop code 3B, which is system service exception, with win32k.sys, make me think about third party antivirus or firewall cause the BSODs.
I would recommend you to remove Eset Node 32 for testing purpose:
How to uninstall or remove ESET Nod32 antivirus totally?

If you need an alternative antivirus to protect your system while not having Eset, I recommend MSE, it's BSODs free and it is free
    http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

    Old drivers:
    Code:
    fffff880`03cd6000 fffff880`03ced000 tifsfilt tifsfilt.sys Wed Aug 29 19:37:29 2007 (46D56889)
    fffff880`01400000 fffff880`014b0000 timntr timntr.sys Wed Aug 29 19:38:23 2007 (46D568BF)
Either update them or remove them, they belong to Arnonis true image driver.

    Code:
    tdrpman tdrpman.sys Mon Nov 12 20:36:33 2007 (473856E1)
Acronis Try&Decide and Restore Points Volume Filter Driver. Update or remove please, drivers that 2 or 3 years old will make system run unstable.
    Code:
    snapman snapman.sys Thu Nov 22 15:19:33 2007 (47453B95)
Acronis True Image Snapshot Manager driver http://www.acronis.com

    Thanks a lot.
I have removed Nod32 ans installed MS Essentials instead as recomended.

I have also uninstalled Seagate Diskwizard ( a branded version of Aronics true image that i can't find any newer version of so I had to uninstall it)

I get this bsod once every 3 days so I don't know if it helps or not.

I still have the Virtual CD software (from slysoft) installed. I use it pretty much so that will be next test if I will get more craches.

I just wounder if there are any good virtual cd software that I can use to mount iso files and that don't crach the system?

Thans very much for your edvices.

    Remove Acronis TrueImage.

Remove VirtualCloneDrive, and then run this SPTD installer/uninstaller tool to completely remove SPTD: DuplexSecure - Downloads

    Before I got the REFERENCE_BY_POINTER
I have already run the uninstall for "True Image" (ie seagate disc wizard)

After that i have uninstalled virtual clone drive and runt the SPTD uninstaller.

I tried to re-install virtual clone drive since I have read that it don't use SPTD.
After re-installed it U run SPTD installer again and it said that i did not have any
    SPTD installed.

If you need a good program that does not use SPTD, try MagicDisc. That's what I use when necessary.

Manually delete the TrueImage drivers from C:\System32\drivers.

No more blue screen since I removed the drivers and switched to MagicDisc so I hope that this is solved.

How do I mark the thread as solved?
