Bsod brick>wsod>dead. Help please!

Ok So basically i accidently downgraded firmware on my HP COMPAQ Presario Cq61 Windows 7 home edition , then and error came up - 104-unsupport network driver please remove and start again i done this then it worked and fine again then every time i logged in it said my windows 7 copy is not genuine so i ignored it but then i installed a program called comodo firewall and every time i logged on it would go to a white screen showing the cursor then say "Windows encountrered a problen and will restart in one minute. then stupid me trying to be smart i Tap F8 for a HP Advance menu on startup and click Disable Auto Restart and now i cannot access the internet from that laptop i had no boot up disk and i cannot run programs please somebody help me with my dilema.

Can you restart at the safe mode with command prompt and reinstall the network driver from a usb thumbdrive?

Welcome!

If Roger's suggestion doesn't work, I suggest a system restore to get to a point before the troubles began.

Safe mode no longer works , restart repeats, i press system restore button and nothing happens it just goes to Start up as normal etc. very limited options...

Try a system restore from the repair disc or Windows DVD.

i have only a xp boot disk no windows 7... the xp doesnt work on HP laptops
