Hey.. So i've been having some random BSOD's since i got this new computer 3 days ago, especially when installing games/Programs so im doing as the "Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions." is telling me..

My Windows 7 is . . .

- OEM = came pre-installed on system (Came included with the system i bought from a Norwegian internet dealer at "www.Komplett.no" Which assembled the computer.)

- What is the age of system (hardware): 3 days old.
- What is the age of OS installation. : Also 3 days old.
System specs should be included with my profile here.

Remove Norton with this tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...moval_Tool.exe

If the BSODs persist, enable driver verifier: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Alright, ran the Norton removal tool, so i'll try installing the game that caused the BSOD's.

Already had uninstalled Norton using the uninstall feature, so i thought that solved it, but apparently it didnt.

Thanks for helping

Yep, apparently the Norton uninstaller left drivers loaded in RAM.

Keep us posted!

The Norton Removal Tool didnt seem to solve the problem as i got another BSOD..

So im uploading another zip containing all the info as i though the "Windows7_BSOD_jcgriff2" Program was done and just closed it.

Didnt try to enable the "Driver Verifier" Because of the warning "If Verifier flags a critical driver, it could leave your computer unbootable. Make sure you have created a system restore point and Windows 7 installation DVD or repair disc."
I Dont have a System restore point yet.

*Edit* Created a system restore point now, but i am unsure how the Driver Verifier works. But im going to try enabling it.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.
