You sure it's not just going to sleep/hibernate?

    When I first installed 7000 that's what I though.

    Windows 7 crash.

I cant get it to power up with the keyboard or mouse. And when i push the power button it starts up and gives the message that windows recovered from a crash.

I had this exact same problem on x64 and x86 versions of 7100, it was as copernicus said above the sleep/hibernate problem......
I switched to performance mode and the problems went away!!!! :)

I did try that I switched to that mode but it did not help. I am using the 64bit version of win7 on a P5e-VM HDMI.

    WhoCrashed shows:

On Mon 18/05/2009 20:05:29 your computer crashed
This was likely caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe
    Bugcheck code: 0x9F (0x3, 0xFFFFFA80031CCA20, 0xFFFFF80000B9C5A8, 0xFFFFFA8006709AB0)
    Error: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Likely the culprit is another driver on your system which cannot be identified.

This appears to be a driver issue. What software/drivers do you have installed?

The problem is caused by the driver l160x64.sys which appears to be an Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T Adapter.
