    World at War Crashes

    Hi.
I've been having the same problem with World at War since it was released. I've contacted Steam and Activision with no results, so if anyone can help me that would be great.
The game plays perfectly until I get to the Peleliu(?) level. The level seems to load fine, but when I click to start the game crashes EVERYTIME...in regular mode, in safe mode...
Windows lists this as the problem:

    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

and the game itself lists this:

    Unhandled exception caught

I know my video card drivers are fine because I just upgraded my card and every other game plays fine. Any advice?
    Thank you.

It looks like the game is having problem, might be you need to patch the game or do some hot fix that the company might have.
The exception code c0000005 is memory exception. Since this happend only while you in that particular game, I would not suspect the RAM.
In the meantime, you might want to read this article for few things to try:

It is possible that you might want to re-install the game
