    BSOD bug check code 160 and 0


    Ok im having some problems here at first i would get a random crash then restart when playing certain games. I was assuming it was a graphics card error or driver error. this is the error i received from this.

    I also received this error today. I ran a test on my ram today at lunch before i went back to work i came back to my computer being restarted. This was the error i received. If anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

    Ok sorry about previous post i was in a rush and frustrated should have read first. Thank you though. Here is the report. Just a side note from troubleshooting i have done i have replaced video card, motherboard and HDD recently and it is still giving me this BSOD when i am playing majority of games. Thank you for your time.

    This appears to be caused by hibernation. Have you changed the size of the hibernation file or deleted it?

    I suggest that you uninstall Avira antivirus using this tool > Info > Tool. Avira is known to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Replace it with Microsoft security Essentials while you are troubleshooting. After you get your system running smoothly, you can try AVG again; but I do not recommend doing so.

    I also find some out of date drivers on your system. Win 7 does not like obsolete drivers; they can and do cause memory corruption and crashes.

    Update the first driver. The second is an Avira driver which will be removed when you uninstall Avira.
