BSOD

After I format my laptop, I was installed the window7 OS. Every time I try to launch the game, it will BSOD. I was though the BSOD is because of my anti-virus, because after i send my laptop to the computer shop for format, the staff was tell me that my anti-virus will cause BSOD. IHe suggested me to turn off it while launch the game. I do so, but still BSOD. Currently I was playing MapleStory, and last I was suffer for encounter the Keylogger activities after install window 7. I want to ask is it normal after installed window 7 OS and the way solve BSOD.

This is the folder that I zip.

Best Regards,
Esther

Hi and Welcome to SF!

This is very straight forward, your graphic card was blamed in the DMP. As this happend only while you are in the game, I don't think that the graphic card is damaged. So first step to try is to re-install the graphic card driver. When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

Maple Story is well-known for causing BSODs. Stop code 8E can be well caused by 3rd party AV or firewall. I'm worry that disable the service of Kaspersky is not enough though. So I would recommend you to try uninstall it completely to see if it solve the problem in game.

Windows 7 is very stable when optimized to your hardware. Could you fill in your system & hardware specs so we can help you with greater details.

Maple story is known for causing BSODs especially when It was affected by 3rd party antivirus but I've not seen you removed Kaspersky. . If Kaspersky is not the cause, you can always re-install it whenever you want right?

The process running at the time of crash was Maplestory which is the game you are playing. Usually when it come to be so obvious like this, we recommend to contact the Game company to solve the issue, but I'm trying to help you and I hope at least you can give it a try. Window 7 is great, at least in my opinion, you just need to get to know it more and you will like it.

Best regard,

Tuan

About the game company, they are useless. Last I was contact for hackers issue but they only give the standard answer like "the game take part in real time, so we are regret to say we cannot recovery the items or equipment to you." Their database already crash long time ago and seem not improve at all. Recently a lot of players get suspended by the system without reason, they only let us know for investigation.
