BSOD possibly due to new network card

    Hi,

My onboard ethernet network card failed yesterday so I went out and by generic realtek gigbait pcie card. Everything worked fine last night. However since this morning, I have recieved three BSODs. One this morning and two tonight. I verified that I have the latest drivers for the card. I also have a 350 mb memory.dmp file.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    System details:

    - x64
    - Windows 7 Professional
    - full retail version
    - Hardware is 1+ years old
    - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Original os was vista home premium. Did a full re-install with windows 7 a few months ago.

Your 2 reports showed a code of F4, with a probable cause of hard drive problems.
    0x000000F4: CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION
One of the many processes or threads crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated. As a result, the system can no longer function. Specific causes are many, and often best resolved by a careful history of the problem and the circumstances of the error message

Thanks for your help. I ran a SMART test on all of my internal hard drives and they all reported fine. However I did have an HP personal media drive hooked up via usb, and decided to unlug that and haven't had a BSOD since. So hopefully that solves the issue.

    Thanks!

TY for the rep and kind words. I hope that the next time you come to the forum it is not because of a BSOD.
