BSoD when computer was left on overnight twice... Dell XPS M1530
2.4ghz cpu
256 mb Nvidia GPU
250gb HDD
Windows 7 retail self installed.
Newish installation 1 week old.
Hardware is 3 years old - motherboard is new.
Interestingly this has never happened in the day, only when I left on all night.
There is a known issue of overheating on these laptops, can that be a bsod causer?
Thanks. | My System Specs |

Hi and Welcome to SF!
I suspect Symantec EndPoint Protection was the cause. Please remove it completely Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product | Norton Support
Also, please download and install fresh copy of your intel wifi adapter driver. netw5v32.sys was mentioned in one of the dmp file.

Ricoh Memory Card Reader driver I just realize all of your Symantec/Norton product are out of date. You can either choose to update them or uninstall them.

Remove SPTD with this tool: DuplexSecure - Downloads
Norton is known to cause BSODs, and in your dumps, it wouldn't surprise me at all. Remove it with this tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...moval_Tool.exe
Replace with the free MSE: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials
Your Intel Wireless adapter drivers are another quite likely cause. Please update them to the latest version.

You may see if Windows Update can find an update for it. Right-click on the device in Device Manager, and select Update Driver Software.
No guarantees, Windows Update does not have a very good reputation for finding good drivers.
I see no driver updates on the Dell support page.
I recommend ignoring the old webcam drivers for now, unless you get more BSODs. If you do, disable the cam in Device Manager. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Intel i7 2600K OC'd @ 4620 MHz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V Pro Memory 16GB GSkill Sniper 2133 Mhz (4x4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 SuperClocked+ Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 2x Acer S273HLbmii 27" Screen Resolution 2 x 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech MK320 (wireless) Mouse Logitech MK320 (wireless) PSU Corsair HW Series 750w (modular) Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition Cooling CM Hyper 212+ CPU cooler, 3x 230mm + 1x 140mm case fans Hard Drives 64GB Crucial M4 SSD

Thanks a lot for all this.
I thought Symantec was reliable company.. If I think back, it is possible that all the trouble started after symantec. Does it really make sense that their software officially damages systems?
Is Microsoft anti virus just as good as symantec and the rest?
I went to Symantec because my nod32 eset was running the CPU to 100% alot of the time. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell m1530 OS win 7 CPU 2.4 ghz t8300 Memory 3 gb Graphics Card Nvidia 256mb BSoD when computer was left on overnight twice... problems?
