    asus f5sr bsod


    hello
    i'm having this problem for 2 months now and i've reinstalled w7 and i've updated all drivers, without effect, AND IT WONT CREATE .dmp FILE, i tried everthing
    ( driver_irql_not_less_or_equal
    stop : 0x000000d1 (0x00000000cff3002b, 0x0000000000000002, 0x00000000000000008, 0x00000000cff3002b)

    Windows 7 x64, Full retail, 1 year old notebook

    Rich- no dumps in his Minidump folder.

    duri9 - Please update ESET to the latest 2010 version. It is a free upgrade on ESET's site.

    Also, set the page file to "System Managed".

    i dont know if it has to be kernel memory dump or small memory dump (256kb)

    Kernel memory dump is fine, it should create both a minidump, and Full dump. Unless there is a good reason to use the Full memory dump (which I don't know how to read anyway), we normally just use Minidumps.

    If you get more BSODs, go ahead and follow the BSOD Posting Instructions again.

    We'll very likely do some hardware tests, depending on the results.

    ok i run test again and bsod is everytime after few hours of playing or watching videos

    there are missing : Setup Log Files, Per user archived wer and system archived wer
    but i remember that someone told me to turn off WER, so i turned it off
    but i dont know why there are not setup log files, i even dont know if it has something to do with this thing

    Hmmm...that may be why no records of the Bluescreens can be found. Turn WER back on. I'm not sure how to do it myself, so I can't give instructions.

    i followed these instructions but i everything turned to disabled in gpedit

    wer is on, Per user archived wer and system archived wer are there
    but setup log files nowhere
    any help?
