Keeps logging into an temp profile.

Hi, I am getting this unusal but annoying error when I log on to windows, it says that itīs running a temporary profile and it wonīt be resolved until I log off and on again, and that works, I am just wondering why it happens. Event log states:

"Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile.

DETAIL - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

Iīm just wondering what the best course of action is to avoid this annoyance.

    Thx.

    Welcome
I would make a new user account and see if it works better.

When I give advice, it is always what I would do if it were my computer. If if were mine I would just try a new account. Just to test. You do not have to switch at this point.

    You can try this
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
