Windows 7: New Computer with BSOD

Windows 7 Home Premium x64

New Computer with BSOD

Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ?
I the computer is running Windows 7 x64 Home Premium right now. I had Windows 7 Ultimate x64 but took it off the computer
- the original installed OS on the system?
- an OEM or full retail version?
It is a full retail verson

So I bought a barebones kit online that came with:

Biostar MCP6PB M2+ Motherboard - Socket AM2+, ตATX, Audio, GeForce 6150 Graphics, SATA, RAID,

Centon Dual Channel 4096MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory (2 x 2048MB),

AMD Phenom X4 9650 Quad Core Processor HD9650WCGHBOX - 2.30GHz, 4MB Cache, 1800MHz (3600 MT/s) FSB, Agena, Quad-Core, Retail, Socket AM2+, Processor with Fan,

Samsung SH-S223C DVDRW Drive - DVD+R 22X, DVD+RW 8X, DVD-RW 6X, DVD-RAM 12X, CD-R 48X, OEM

Seagate ST31000528AS Barracuda 7200.12 Hard Drive - 1TB, 7200 rpm, 32MB, SATA-3G.

I'm also running an NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT graphics card instead of the one built into the mother board. I have updated the drivers also.

I have tried installing different versions of Windows 7 and have still received BSOD's. I just recently got new RAM sticks and I have received two more BSOD's since then. I have the 3 latest minidumps from the computer
in the attachments. The first is from the old sticks of ram and the 2 newest is from the new sticks of RAM. Any help is greatly appreciated. The computer is brand new. Only used it for two weeks before the BSOD.

I am afraid it is still pointing to memory corruption. I would run memtestx86 on one stick at a time to identify if any are good or bad.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled

The bugcheck analysis you posted is from the first set of RAM. The most recent one 082210-15927-01 is with the new sticks of RAM.

I wonder if your outdated nForce drivers are the cause.

Please install the latest version: Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

If you need help locating drivers for it, please upload your msinfo32 file:

If you get more BSODs, please follow these directions: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

That gives us the dumps, along with a whole lot of other data.

I ran the memtest86 on each stick of RAM individually and then together over the past two days and I received 0 errors and let each one run for 5 passes. I haven't received any BSOD except for on start up where windows will stay on the "Windows is starting" with the windows flag. Stop error is 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Ok, so I installed the "NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.49 WHQL" and I got a blue screen on start up, during the screen that says "Starting Windows" with the microsoft windows flag thing. I then rebooted it and I then updated the BIOS for the Biostar motherboard which says in the description "Fix sometimes cannot boot up properly". After installing the update, I rebooted the computer and received another blue screen in the same spot. I tried 2 more times and same issue. I booted a fourth time and it worked fine and when I tried to check the minidump folder, there were no minidumps. Computer has been on for 14 hours now with no BSOD so far. Will reboot tonight to see if it makes it past the "Windows starting" screen.

It could be hardware, if those drivers didn't cure it.

Let's see if you get more BSODs (which you will, I suspect ), and then do some hardware tests.
