    Computer restarts on login

    PC is a month old, built myself with decent parts (e.g. CPU: 1055T, etc). Has a nice big CPU heatsink fan and plenty of paste and temps were almost room temp when I checked 2 days ago, so I very much doubt that is the issue. Up until today has been working perfectly.

    ==========================================

    Today after getting home from uni windows loaded fine, however there was an extra 10 second delay before reaching the login screen that usually isn't present. Upon typing in my password "loading desktop" or whatever it is appeared, again with a longer delay than usual. Then suddenly "logging off" --> "shutting down" And then it restarted.

    Baffled, I typed in password again, and same thing happened. I turned computer off and came back a bit later, same problem.

    From reading around it seems the login reboot circle is either due to a virus, psu overheat or PSU issues. Considering the scenario i doubt cpu overheat. I also doubt there is anything wrong with my corsair HX 650W. I am protected with firewalls and avg 9.0 paid, I have not installed anything recently, however I do admit that I visit the odd porn site, but not in the past 2 days. From this I would think that a virus is the most likely cause of my inability to login and as such I need to boot in safemode...hoping that the virus somehow is tied to something other than my account.

    The hilarious thing is that the PC is so damn fast, and windows is installed on a SSD that mashing F8 as fast as possible from the end of BIOS on doesn't seem to get me into advanced boot options menu.

    So 2 initial questions:

    1: How to get into safe mode...
    2: What is going wrong? Am I right that it's a virus? Any suggestions on what it could be/how to clear it?

    Nevermind, I got into Safe mode. Was a problem is USB keyboard. Apparently the keyboard arrow keys only work in one port, and not another.

    Upon replugging it in to type in my password computer restarted. This is irritating.

    Ok so it took forever to get to login screen for safe mode. When I finally got there and replugged keyboard in and typed password it worked.

    I was able to login, but immediately on reaching desktop I was greeted with computer must restart "DCOM server process launcher service terminated unepectedly"

    Anyone know what is going on?

    EDIT: I don't understand how...but even after typing "shutdown -a" into cmd windows explorer repeatedly shuts down and restarts and after about 4 minutes it overides the cmd and restarts the computer...
