    Newbie with Random BSOD

I have recently constructed a new system as my old custom built had decided to after 5 years of torture. So I decided to build a new system, which would encompass Windows 7 X64 - So when I do work from home I was hoping the system could handle it.

Initially I had the random restarts with the Kernel 41 error - Decided to follow the advice here and and disable the Smart Step in the Bios etc. But still getting BSOD's I dont have any program that I know of to open the DMP file. So I have attached them here, so that someone can give me an idea, if its hardware of software related.

Just upped the voltage to the ram as well from 1.5v ti 1.651v

Hope someone can help soon as this is getting annoying.

    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate - X64 SP Beta 1
    CPU: Intel i5 - 2.8
    MOBO: MSI H55-GD65
    RAM: OCZ OCZ3P1333LV6GK 3 x 2GB
    GPU: ASUS EAH5750 1GB
    SND: Creative Labs Audigy 2
    HDD: 1 x Western Digital VelociRaptor WD1500HLFS -150GB
    1 x Western Digital WD1002FBYS - 1TB
    1 x Seagate Barracuda - ST3200822AS
PSU: Thermaltake Tough Power 1200w - Non Modular
CD/DVD: 1 x IDE LG HL DT ST DVD RAM
    : 1 x Sony Optiarc AD5260S

    Temps: CPU: 45C/113F System 38C/100F - Idle

Your .dmp file blames atikmdag.sys ( ATI Video driver ) as the culprit .... download the latest available driver for your card..Be sure that you completely remove the current driver with Driver Sweeper then install the new drivers (remove the Catalyst Control Center and only install the Display Driver)

If you are overclocking, return to your default settings until we get a stable system..

    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *

    Thanks Tews,

I have set the BIOS back to Fail Safe settings, just to follow your instructions, nothing had been overclocked as I dont have enough cooling to overclock the system!!

I have a Creative Labs Audigy 2 - Which is well over 5 yrs old, I think those are the latest drivers, I could be wrong. I'm downloading the last package on the Creative Website to have a look anyway. Or do you think I need another trip to my retailer to purchase another Sound Card, although the MOBO does have on board sound.

I suspect AVG is causing the problem now, as an AVG driver was loaded 2 seconds before the crash. Please remove it with this tool: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util...removerx64.exe

    Replace it with MSE: www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/
    Code:
