Random Crashes among other problems
After searching the internet for a solution to my computer problem, I have finally found this website that may help me since this forum pretty much deals with everything Windows 7.
About a month ago, I got a brand new computer. About 3 weeks after using it, the computer didn't turn on properly. What I mean by this is that I can see the tower case light turn on and what not, but the mouse, keyboard and monitor act as if the computer was off (mouse has no light, num lock light on the keyboard isn't on and monitor says no signal).
The only way I managed to fix this was replugging the blue and white cable that connects to the monitor, along with the power supply of the computer off of the tower case. Only then, I managed to boot up the computer normally. Ever since, the same problem happens and I fix it the same way as before, but sometimes, it takes a couple of tries and it has happened numerous times
Besides the computer not booting up properly, the computer would also randomly crash on me. First the screen would freeze up for about a second and the whole screen would turn into this static like image that doesn't move much. The might be some flickering but only part of this "image". Also, the colors in the static pattern would depend on whatever was on the screen at that time. The keyboard and mouse would also stop responding (if I press the num lock key, it stays lit)
After that, the computer would either stay that way until I restart it or sometimes it restarts itself after a couple seconds. The computer would show up as a black screen with options asking if you want to start in safe mode, safe mode with network, safe mode with command prompt, or just start Windows normally. I would pick start windows normally and after I have logged in it says "windows has shut down unexpectedly..." with the options "Check for solutions online" or "cancel" It has a drop down arrow which shows the information of the crash. Since it has happened quite a lot, I started collecting these error logs and they all seem slightly different from each other. The only thing that is the same is the problem event which says "BlueScreen".
I hope my definition of my problem is clear enough for you to understand as I typed this in the order of which it happened.
