Increasing BSOD and more.

Hi everyone! I've got a computer some time ago, and was very surprised the first time it rebooted once desktop was opened. Later I learn something about the BSOD, and since then they've been increasing. At first, it was once a week, or even less often, but know it happened yesterday, and again today!
Basically, once I start session and open desktop, the computer reboots. Then, it opens desktop fine, and tells me "Windows recovered from an unexpected error".
But there is more. This happened few times: when I press the button to turn the computer on, it appears to start fine, but it doesn't. The screen just remains black and load nothing.
I'm really worried and annoyed by this. Hope u guys can help me.

Hello and Welcome !

Seems like your Webcam usbvideo.sys might be messing things up. Disconnect the Webcam from USB Port and uninstall all the related drivers completely.

Also i found a Duplex driver in your list which is notorious for BSOD. I would recommend to uninstall it usually used by Alcohol 120, Daemon etc. use this guide to remove it DuplexSecure - FAQ

Thanks Captain for your reply! I've been very busy, so I couldn't check the forum till now.

I have a few questions about your reply:

1. The webcam is integrated with the monitor, so i can't just disconnect it. Would disabling it from Device Manager work the same way?

2. Someone told me to use a program called Bluescreenview to take a look at the minidumps. I did that, and although i didn't undestand much, I noticed that the first BSOD was caused by the usbvideo.sys, while the others 3 by ntoskernel.exe+70740. Are they related, or two separates error that need to be solved? In the second case, can u tell me how to?

I'll take a look at the lirsgt.sys driver, but so far no idea to what program or hardware is linked.

Hello,

Yes sometime disabling the Driver might fix the issue. Make sure you remove any drivers if installed don't remove usbvideo.sys since it's a part of Windows.

ntoskernel.exe is Windows Kernel so it's not the issue. Because 95% of the time it's either third party drivers or Hardware. lirsgt.sys seems like it's related to TAGES, the AAA Copy Protection software.

Hi again! It's been a while. I'm sorry i didn't reply earlier, i had some issues that took too much of my time to solve.

About the BSOD, I disabled and uninstalled the webcam, uninstalled daemon tool lite and used the duplex secure program, and also downloaded the newest version of the TAGES, the AAA Copy Protection software for the lirsgt.sys driver.

So far, i had no BSOD.

But everytime i reboot the computer, it just freezes, it doesn't load anything. I can hear the fan working, like when i turn it on, but nothing happens. And when i manually turn it off and on again, there isn't any error report nor minidump. Any clue about the cause or what can I do to solve it?
