BSOD Code: 116 while playing game

OS - Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Full Retail (clean install, build 7600)
Age - 2 months, custom built desktop ( all new parts )

    System Specs:
    CPU - AMD Phenom II X2 555 3.2GHz
GPU - Gigabyte Radeon HD 5770
    1 gig memory
    manufacturer overclocked to 900
    RAM - 2 x 2 gig

CCC - My current Catalyst version is 10.8 (which I believe is the newest)
    ----------------------------------------

My computer has had no hardware problems after being built, however
while playing the game 'Heroes of Newerth', after about 30 minutes
into the game, my system will lock and my screen will turn all sorts
of pretty colors. My computer will then restart and show the recovery
window below. I have not had this issue while doing anything else on
my computer other than playing this game. I am positive my GPU is not
overheating because it came with OCGuru which keeps track of the
temperature which maxed out around 55*C.

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 116
    BCP1: FFFFFA8004A8D010
    BCP2: FFFFF88003E6CDCC
    BCP3: 0000000000000000
    BCP4: 0000000000000002
    OS Version: 6_1_7600
    Service Pack: 0_0
    Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\091010-17518-01.dmp
    C:\Users\Isis\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-33789-0.sysdata.xml

    ---------------------------------------

Please feel free to ask for any more information you believe is necessary.
I am proficient with computers, so I do know this is a graphics card issue,
however since I have done very little work with BSOD errors I don't have
the experience to go through the dmp files to see what exactly the
    problem is.

Thank you in advance for your assistance - JJ

Please uninstall the Catalyst Control Center. There have been issues with it so I recommend that it be left off when installing drivers (there's a driver-only option below it on the ATI download page).

STOP 0x116 info here: BSOD Index
STOP 0x116 troubleshooting steps here: STOP 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR troubleshooting

The MSINFO32 report shows problems with these 2 devices:
    Code:
Coprocessor PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0753&SUBSYS_82E71043&REV_A2\3&267A616A&0&0B The drivers for this device are not installed.

    ATITool Driver ROOT\*ATITOOLDEVICE\0000 52
The first one is likely to be a part of the chipset drivers for your motherboard. Visit the nVidia website and download/install the appropriate chipset drivers (this will also update your outdated networking driver).

The second one is likely an unsigned driver in the ATITool program. Please uninstall this program. I'd also remove the OCGuru program because you're having video issues.

You also have the 2005 version of ASACPI.sys - the Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility driver. This is a known BSOD cause and must be updated. Visit the Asus support website and download the appropriate version for your motherboard and OS versions - it'll be listed under the ATK or the Utility category.

Please uninstall Daemon Tools as there is a driver in the program that can cause BSOD's. Once we're finished troubleshooting, feel free to reinstall the latest available, Win7 compatible version.

No need to use Driver Max - as you can see, it's missed updating a few of the drivers.

All 4 errors in the uploaded files are STOP 0x116 errors and all blame atikmpag.sys - a component of your video drivers - I'd strongly suggest following the STOP 0x116 troubleshooting steps at the link that I cited above.

    Uninstalled DriverMax
    Uninstalled CCC (All of it)
    Uninstalled OCGuru
    Uninstalled Daemon Tools
    <Restarted>
Installed ATI Radeon Display Driver Only v10.8 (Radeon HD 5XXX)
Installed Nvidia Chipset drivers v15.49 (nForce 780a SLI)
Opted to NOT install ForceWare Network Access Manager
    Installed ASUS Update V7.17.13 (M4N98TD-EVO)
This seemed to have already been installed, as running the setup gave me an 'uninstall' window. I went ahead and uninstalled it and reinstalled it just to make sure.
    <Restarted>
    Installed FurMark

I ran furmark for about 45 minutes with no artifacts, my gpu had a low temp of 54C and a max temp of 98C which is where it stayed for the last 15 minutes or so. I've never run fur mark before, but it seemed to work the gpu harder than any game could and I had no issues (even with such a high temp). I'm going to play the game that was causing the BSOD a few times and I'll post again if I have any issues.

Thank you so much for your help , I'll reply again in a few days if everything is working well. -JJ

Sorry for the late reply, I've been doing a lot of schoolwork lately and haven't had the time to play. I got on earlier today however and I was still having the same issue. I decided to update the bios of my motherboard since it seemed like the only logical next step. My motherboard is an ASUS M4N98TD EVO which I realize I didn't mention in the first post. I used the ASUS updater tool to update my bios and it went well, however I am still having the same issue inside the game where the screen will freeze for a few seconds, then it will go black and restart.

I was thinking about calling ATI (since it seems to be their drivers / GPU that is causing the issue), however I'm sure they would just tell me to do the same things you guys are and it would amount to nothing.

Not bad GPU: Only happens with this one game
I haven't seen anyone complaining about this issue on the HoN forums either.
Not overheating: FurMark got it up to 95C without any issues
Not old drivers: 10.8 CCC (Drivers only), Bios is updated as well

Any additional advice you have to give would be helpful, I'm pretty much at a roadblock.
