looks like if i play wacraft i get bsod now it has no bsod message it just points to 2 new files. dxgmms1.sys+21098 and watchdog.sys+122f. here is the dump file also attached in this message.
OK one of the weirdest thing happened after putting back again the 1GB memory, it worked all fine with no BSOD until now I can even play warcraft again, so weird. ~_~
Any one can comment on this because i can't deduce the problem. ^^''
oops edit I forgot to mention I disabled Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, I feel though it has a connection to the problem since, I have been reading the forums and some of the problems points out to anti virus and anti malware software's.
Update still no BSOD. looks ok now hmmm. But still i have this weird feeling. >.<
If this goes until tomorrow with no BSOD what should I do guys ? Should I just ignore what memtest showed ?
Ok just as I though the odd feeling I'm having is here I got BSOD playing warcraft again this time, while playing I alt+tab to run some songs when it BSOD me again. >.<
here is the minidump guys.
Ashwolves, I see two things going. First, I suggest that you uninstall Kaspersky while you are trouble shooting. Kaspersky is known to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Use this removal tool:Info > Tool. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials and make sure Windows Firewall is enabled. When you get your system stable, you can try Kaspersky again if you wish; but I do not recommend doing so.
Second, you have to sort out and correct the RAM problems. Your RAM has got to work flawlessly; if you need help with this, please post back. We have some guys here who are really good with RAM. I am not one of them; but I will ask them to take a look at this thread if you need help.
Carl thank you for your time, yes I need all of your professional help which points to a RAM problem as you can see. T_T
OK I'm gonna use the k.removal tool and I'll post more updates if there are any problems I will monitor this forum, So I can check If one your friends can give me some help. ^^
Again thank you for your time I appreciate it.
You are very welcome; that is why we are here. :) I will send out a call for help with the RAM.
Hi Ashwolves, sorry to hear your having problems.
You have been getting excellent advise.
Good job asking questions about the recommendations that you still need help with.
When testing RAM with memtest86+ you need to test for bad RAM and any possible bad motherboard RAM slots.
Follow these steps in the tutorial: How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
You may have a bad MOBO slot or, need a little adjusting on the RAM settings.
Did you check temperatures during the tests?
Use Real Temp to check the CPU core temps.
D/L CPUZ and post the memory and SPD tabs, check the BIOS for the DRAM and QPI voltage.
Have you done any overclocking?
Use the snipping tool and post the picture. Please don't zip and upload the files.
Start button > type 'snipping tool' in the search box > press enter
Select the area you want to copy and save to a convenient place.
How to Post a Screenshot in Seven Forums
This makes it easier for all of us to see the information.
First, the BIOS.
That is very good advise. Updating the BIOS is not to be taken lightly.
I would recommend to take it to a local shop and have them update the BIOS. At least get a knowledgeable friend to help with this.
If anything goes wrong it can brick (make unusable) your computer.
D/L your motherboard manual if you don't have it already.
Also check the Qualified Vendors List (QVL) for compatible RAM, you can get this from the same link.
Check the BIOS version that you have, in BIOS or on the 'Mainboard' tab in CPUZ.
There are a couple of 'memory compatibility' updates listed in the BIOS section. This may help your issue depending on the BIOS version you have now.
Questions
#1.
These errors indicate a problem, it will not go away forever, it will come back. This must be taken care of.
Ask the guys at the shop about, updating your BIOS, and testing the RAM for you to see if there are any issues with it.
They should run memtest86+ (or equivalent) on your RAM in a different computer, this will tell them if it's a RAM problem.
#2.
Those temps are high.
What were you doing when you got these temps?
High stress at the time would still indicate that you have a cooling issue.
Check that all you fans are running.
Clean everything inside the case.
Are you running a stock CPU cooler?
You may need to consider getting a better one, the less expensive ones do a very good job of cooling, much better than the stock cooler.
Heat can slow down your system and cause BSoDs.
If your overclocking, return everything to optimum defaults until the other issues are sorted out.
Your RAM can be faulty and still run without errors some of the time. But, you will likely still get BSoDs.
The anti-virus can cause BSoDs, for trouble shooting, un-install it ant run MSE, as mentioned previously.
Let us know the exact steps you take, and the exact results. This will help to find the problem.
Do one thing at a time and check for stability.
Let us know the results before moving to the next step.
By providing all of the requested information we all can help you much faster.
