    Try the 7.1 version and let me know. That is strange; they must have found a bug in the newer version.

    I think I'll stick with my current driver, version 7.0.280.0. I downloaded the 7.1 version (7.10.344.0) from the Microsoft site and was in the process of installing it when I got this message:

    I can understand receiving it when trying to install a driver from a 3rd party such as Logitech or Realtek etc., but this was direct from Microsoft. As my current drivers seem to be working without any problems (no hangs or lockups today), I'll stick with them.
