Disable Norton for the time being, as that file is safe.

Just a heads-up, unless another cause is apparent, I will ask you to remove Norton, as it is a known cause of BSODs.

You can wait for it, or start now if you wish. Here is the Norton removal tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...moval_Tool.exe

Here is MSE, our recommended alternative: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Do go ahead and remove Norton, at least until the BSODs stop. Then you can reinstall it if you like.

Install this ATI driver: ATI Catalyst

You want Option 2 - Individual Downloads>Catalyst Control Center
    Code:
    atikmdag.sys Thu Dec 17 17:46:00 2009
Also, test your hard drive with this tool: | Seagate

All the test passed, and I downloaded the drivers. I also removed Norton and installed MSE. I will post again here if the problem persists. Thank You _King for helping me out so quickly.

I am now getting this box

Catalyst Control Centre: Host application has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

When I click Close Program the box pops up again moments later.

Hmm...uninstall the Catalyst Control Center in Programs and Features, and then install the driver you just downloaded again.
