    BSOD (Black) with random freeze

Hi i've recently started to get random screen freezes. The screen goes black and freezes. I the have to restart the PC. I've just re-installed Win 7 Pro 32 bit but that hasn't cured it. Can anyone help? I've attached dumps if anyone can make any sense of them.

    Many Thanks

    Collin

Unfortunately, there were no .dmp files.. navigate to c:/windows/minidump and zip up any .dmp files and attach them to your next post...

No BSODs are recorded; however, we may be able to induce one.

Try enabling driver verifier: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

You may want to remove Norton until we are done with this. Use this tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...moval_Tool.exe

MSE can be used as a temporary replacement, or a permanent program, if you decide to keep it: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Hmmm, minutes after starting "verifier", i had a yellow warning triangle in the bottom RH side of the screen warning that the display driver had stopped responding but had recovered.

It's been 4 days with again random black screen freezes again but i can't seem to induce a Blue BSOD and file dump. It really is random too. Having re-installed a fresh copy of Win 7, it's no better. New monitor, replaced Graphics card and memory. Any more fresh ideas would be welcome!
