virus scan getting stuck on mfc42.dll

    Thank you both. I assure you I was only kidding, I sincerely appreciate you guys advising me on what to do, I would be completely lost without it.

    Mcafee is out, MSE is scanning now.

    I went from Mcafee to MSE and found 6 Malware and trojans not found by Mcafee. YOu made the right choice.

    You were right found 9 instances and one trojan all classified as severe and resolved them. Thanks a lot guys.

    Trojans, really bad. They can even take control of the puter. That is why I do not use my Adm account, only the standard user. If I get a trojan, the most it can do is what I can do from a standard account.

    I think it is, when MSE was scanning I happened to look at it when it got to the file in question because it froze my browser and took some time with it, but it then moved on and completed the scan. So I'm happy with it. Thanks
