Windows 7: BSOD - e1e6232e.sys

BSOD - e1e6232e.sys

Hey everyone-

My computer has been having random BSOD's at (I think) random intervals through the day when I'm not around.
The one exception to this was today when I tried signing on to Windows Live Messenger, and it gave me the same BSOD.

It's being caused by e1e6232e.sys, and the error is
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

If there's anything I'm missing, please say so. I've already tried reinstalling the drivers (I also made sure it was the correct one), but that didn't do anything.

First of all, here's the WhoCrashed error report for my latest crash:

On Mon 9/20/2010 3:00:57 PM your computer crashed

caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.

One cause of your BSODs is that this driver has to be updated

E1e6232e.sys
Description: Intel(R) PRO/1000 Adapter
Intel(R) PRO/1000 Adapter NDIS 6 deserialized driver
Company: Intel Corporation

If overclocking restore normal settings

SFC /scannow
System Files - SFC Command
Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done:
www.duplexsecure.com/en/downloads
Scan with your Anti Virus

How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- The most common drivers are listed on this page: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html
To remove any left over driver remnants, especially from graphics cards, use driver sweeper
www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/

After performing all of the above, post back with any new BSOD reports, or indicate that the attempted repairs were successful.
If any links do not work, if clicked, please copy and paste to browser address bar.
Remember that several attempts may be required before we can solve your BSOD problem. These reports are not definitive but merely point the way to a solution.

Thanks Rich, but it seems the problems aren't over yet, and I'm still getting the BSOD-

- I'm not overclocking
- I ran SFC
- I did a slow scan on AVG
- I reinstalled my driver, again, and I used the Intel Driver Update Utiliy, it is the right version.

Those reports usually give a hint on the cause of the problem. One will give one cause another gives still a second cause. The the analysist, will decide based on the evidence the true cause. In you case it is different, evey report gave the same cause; the NIC Ethernet Driver. If you get more BSOD download and I will take a look.

Memory can cause driver failure, but not always the same driver, try a memory test and be sure. In addition disconnect the ethernet and boot, see if you still BSOD.
Go to device manager and see if you have any yellow warning markers.
Download memtest86 and test RAM
