    [HELP] BSOD - Startup

    Hi there,

I've been using Windows 7 since the first build and have been following with every single build that has been released by both Microsoft and Torrents. I was using Windows 7 build 7077.

I then did a huge upgrade on my computer, I got a new case and mother board. I'm currently dual booting with Windows XP and it is working perfectly, after I installed the drivers for everything.

The problem is though, when I try to boot to Windows 7 I get the loading image, and then a BSOD just flashes. Does anyone know how this can be fixed?

I haven't tried booting in Safe Mode so I may do that, I've tried Startup Repair and that did nothing.

    Thanks!

    Hey guys,

Alright so I got home and I tried to boot with Safe mode and it loaded all the files and then just restarted. I was able to get the Bsod numbers, there are 5 of them and I didn't know what one to take so I took them all.

    Script:
    0x0000007B
    0x80786B58
    0x00000034
    0x00000000
    0x00000000
You guys are really my last chance before I format my HD so please give me a hand.

Here's a link to a brief description of the error message: Troubleshooting Windows STOP Messages

As this refers to your boot device (hard drive), I'd suggest running Startup Repair first: How to automatically repair Windows Vista using Startup Repair

I'd also suggest running a bootable diagnostic test of your hard drive. I've made a list of instructions here: Bootable Hard Drive Diagnostics
