    BSODs Studio XPS 13 -1340

I've had this Dell Studio XPS 13 (Model 1340) for about 6 months and it Blue Screens quite a bit. I did reinstall Windows 7 x64 from the Dell OEM Microsoft disk (not the crappy recovery type disk), even after the reinstall still blue screens. When plugged into power it doesn't blue screen as often, maybe twice. When on battery power it almost crashes within an hour. The issue I'm having is its always a different blue screen and different drivers. I have tested and replaced the memory, the motherboard, even the battery, still no luck. I have attached the requested files. If anything else is needed I'm sure someone will ask. Thanks in advanced.

    Thanks,
    Blue

    Hi Blue

Of the 18 crashes 10 directly point to memory corruption and about 3 more indirectly. How did you test your memory? with what app, and for how long?

Several of the BugChecks point to video involvement so I would also re-install the video driver as directed below.

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

let us know the results and tell us if you need further assistance

I have only ran the memory test for 2 passes, so I will go ahead and run a minimum of 6 passes and if it throws any errors I will test them one by one as you have suggested. I will also remove and reinstall the nVidia drivers with your directions. Thanks for the response and hope to get back to you soon.

I ran the MEMTEST86+ over night, it was about to get 5 passes in, found no errors.

I then stripped the nVidia Graphics and PhysX drivers, per your instructions rebooted and installed the newest release. I did leave the nVidia Chipset drivers installed though.

I will run on battery power again and see if it crashes.

    Thanks,

Well after switching to battery power it crashed after about 10 minutes. I have attached the dump file.
