Good job of following instructions. Yes, there is a virtual CD program that does not use the sptd driver: Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview

To check your drivers, using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers. Look for those particular drivers and the dates. The "magic" date for Windows 7 drivers is July 13, 2009 or later.

Here are instructions for updating drivers. We generally recommend updating third Party drivers from the manufacturers sites rather than through Windows Update or Device Manager.
    How To Find Drivers:
    - I have listed links to most of the drivers in the code box below. Please use the links there to see what info I've found about those drivers.
    - search Google for the name of the driver.
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

Here i am again with more BSODs. Actually after your instructions i managed to play more than usual without a BSOD(around 4 hours), but then i got a BSOD and i couldn't login to windows because of crashes and BSODs. Here is what happened:

    1) BSOD while playing the game

PC restarts and from now on and every time windows loading screen appeared these things happened in this order:

    2) Crash
    3) Crash
    4) BSOD 07E
    5) Crash
    6) BSOD 051
    7) BSOD 050

Then i used safe mode to log in and then i restarted and logged in normally.

Here is the info and the dump file for the last BSOD:

I should have caught this from the start and I missed it. I suggest that you uninstall BitDefender using this tool: Info > Tool. Most third party antivirus programs, firewalls, and especially security suites are known to cause BSOD's on some, not all, Win 7 systems. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on. You can safely run Malwarebytes as an on demand scanner with Win 7. If this does not prove to be the problem, you can reinstall Bit Defender after you get your system stable; however, I do not recommend doing so. Take note of the usual causes below.

Error code 50, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA - usual causes are
Defective hardware (particularly memory - but not just RAM), Faulty system service, Antivirus, Device driver, NTFS corruption, BIOS.

    Code:

I still find one out of date third party driver on your system. All of the rest look good.

nvstor.sys Wed May 20 02:45:37 2009 - nVidia Storage Drivers Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers. Update this driver.

After you update this driver and uninstall Bit Defender, reboot and run your system. Let's see how it does. Upload any new BSOD's and please update us.

Thank you Carl for replying. I have downloaded the nForce drivers, but the driver you mentioned is not updated. I think i know why. In the drivers folder i have two nvstor.sys. The one you say to update and the nvstor64.sys. From what i understand, i have both the drivers for 32bit and the 64bit. So when i downloaded the nForce drivers for 64bit, only the nvstor64.sys was updated. Take a look at the pic:

What should i do? Download and install the 32bit drivers also? And how can i have both 32bit and 64bit drivers for the same product?

Yes, download and install the 32 bit, also. Both drivers are loading. Remember, the 64 bit version runs both 32 bit and 64 bit software.

    Did you uninstall Bit Defender?

I can't install the 32bit driver. It says it's not compatible and terminates the setup.

    Yes, i uninstalled BitDefender.

Most of us here use WinDBug to analyze dump files. BlueScreen View has come a long way and is improving; but I feel WinDBug is more thorough and more accurate.

I just saw this driver in your latest dump; I missed it in previous dumps.

    pavboot64.sys Mon Jun 29 07:50:23 2009

The driver is out of date and I think it belongs to Panda Antivirus. Uninstall Panda using this removal tool: Panda 2009 (and earlier) AV > Info > Tool. Most third party antivirus programs, firewalls and especially security suites cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Install Microsoft Security Essentials in its place and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on. Don't use a third party antivirus or firewall while troubleshooting.

    Error code D1, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

The dump blames SC2.exe, which I believe is Starcraft? Is this a cracked version of SC2.exe? I found a good deal of information on SC2.exe cracks.

With Panda gone and your drivers updated, now run your system and let's see what we get. If you get another BSOD, upload it. I think it is a little early to do a clean install. We have a few more things we can try. Troubleshooting is largely a process of elimination most of the time.

I did an online scan from Panda site. I used the uninstalled tool. Yes, it's starcraft(cracked), but i don't think it's related to the game. I get BSODs in many games. The first BSOD i got, was in Mafia II. From then i get in every game.

Also did you read the post about the nvstor.sys? What should i do?

I can't install the 32bit driver. It says it's not compatible and terminates the setup.

    Yes, i uninstalled BitDefender.

Let's ignore nvstor for now since your 64 bit driver is updated. I did find via Google that a lot of folks have had problems with cracked Starcraft and it was directly blamed for the crash; in other words, it was the cause of your last crash. Whether that was due to it being a game and you are having problems with games or due to the fact it is a cracked version, I have no way of knowing. The cracked versions seem to be notorious for causing crashes. Cracked versions of most anything are inherently unstable.

Let's recap what you have done so far; I am trying to get a handle on where we stand to date:

You are now running MSE and Windows Firewall
    Your drivers are updated
    You have uninstalled SPTD.sys

Other than the BSOD you got when playing Starcraft, have you gotten another BSOD since doing the above? Can you play legitimate games without crashing?

Did you run SFC /SCANNOW? If not, please do so. Let us know the results of SFC.

If you get another BSOD, let's test your RAM with Memtest and see if faulty RAM may be the cause. Memtest will take about six or seven hours to run; so you may want to run it over night. Errors will show up in red. Below is a link to an excellent tutorial by Jonathan King on Memtest; follow those instructions and report back with the results.
