BSOD whenever I start a fullscreen game.

This only happens whenever I start a fullscreen game. I have no problems at all when I play anything in windowed mode. I've tested Half-Life, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Dead Rising 2, and they all cause a BSOD when in fullscreen mode.

I use Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

As you have noted your Error is BC 124. This only means that it is probably hardware related. Here are our guidelines on this problem
