Windows 7 x64 STOP: 000000F4 (PLEASE Help)
I've got a unique problem, here's the details in chronological order along with stats on my computer.
Windows 7 Home Premium x64 (bought preinstalled on laptop)
500gb SATA Drive
The other day I installed a Windows update and an iTunes/Quicktime update. My computer asked me to restart and I had a weird feeling at the time about restarting but I did it anyway.
When I restarted my computer hanged at the Starting Windows screen and would go directly into the Startup Repair. Not even safe mode worked, it had the same result.
Fast forward 13 hours and I attempt a system restore...doesn't work.
I scour the internet reading all sorts of fixes. I ran a chkdsk and restarted to do repair, repair detected something and restarted...didn't work.
Then I heard it could be a boot problem and I should try using bootrec.exe
-This found no problems, no OS, etc. But then I was able to delete it and rebuild it and it recognized it. This didn't seem to help the problem though on start up.
Then I tried the fix where I put the Windows 7 disc in and run this code:
x:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt60 all /force (where X is the disc drive letter).
After restart, this seemed to work.
I avoided restarting my computer the best I could (because I knew I'd run into the same boot up problem) but a program later restarted it after I tried cleaning the registry (using a registry cleaning program) and now on start up I get the STOP: 000000F4 blue screen error.
If I attempt to use safe mode it stops at bthidbus.bus and goes into a restart loop. How do I fix this?
I have a SATA - USB adapter so I can plug my existing drive into my other laptop, are there any tools I can use to help repair and fix it? I plugged it into my other laptop and ran sfc.exe to try to find errors and it didn't seem to find/fix anything and didn't fix the problem when I reinserted the drive to the laptop.
Any ideas? I refuse to reformat.

Posting your systems specs would be helpful to many. Can you boot at all to be able to remove those new updates. Many many things can cause that problem. Hardware, drivers, virus and many more. Because it happened after a update of Itunes/Quicktime I'm leaning to the updates changing you driverd or a virus.
