Bluescreen again.

    Yes, it is. That means the manufacturer is not supporting Windows 7 with that hardware. Planned obsolescence? They had rather sell new motherboards. I think you will me more satisfied with a new mobo and processor that is designed to run Win 7. I agree with Ken; you should consider this.

    The motherboard have "Windows 7 Ready" printed on it.
    And on Asus homepage there are Windows 7 X64 in the dropdown where I can download drivers so.....


    Since this driver also is a part of the ATI's driver for graphics It would be strange if
    not any Radeon 4200 would be supported by windows 7

    I found out that this driver comes from the driver I downloaded for the chipset from
    the manufacture of my motherboard. It says win7 driver there.

    However, i managed to uninstall this driver so....

    My first impression is that my machine boots much faster without it. And it feels like it's faster to.

    Let's hope that it will be stable to.

    I will.

    Thanks for your help.

    SO far I can just say that it feels like a new computer. All programs starts faster. I feel like the discaccess is much faster so I really think and hope that this was the problem.
