i reinstalled windows 7 about 2 hours ago.

    Hi all.

This is my first post here. I bought this pc about 4 days ago. I'm presuming the answer is going to be 'send it back to the supplier' - but if I can find a fix and not be without a pc for a few weeks that would be great.

    This is the pc

Zoostorm Core i5-650 Advanced Media PC pro - Misco.co.uk

It was all fine on firing up for the first time. I began to install all my progs all seemed fine, in fact I am really pleased with the performance. But it bluescreened on me.

The only info I got was something relating to the Intel Graphics Driver.
The next Bluescreen showed a System Service Error.

After that it crashed 3 more times with no bluescreen.

I presumed it was problem with one of my progs/software and so decided to recover the system with the onboard recovery system. So I reloaded windows 7..

It bluescreened after about 40 mins.. whilst doing nothing - just sitting there.

I'm going to post this now - in case it bsods again - will put the rest of the info in the next post.

    thx
    bungra

It won't let me upload the report.html page - it says it is the wrong type of file.

My friend had a similar problem with his "Brand new PC."
Random BSOD's. He cleared it up after some research that the problem was that the screen was connected via HDMI(the drivers{or a patch} of which were previously installed through the OS{first time he installed the OS when it was connected via the VGA cable} and now they were'nt there).
If that seems to be the problem with you. Try doing a windows update(Its a small update of 200 kbs, Dont know why the hell they did not included it in the OS.)

    Hope this helps.

    Hi.

I have a digital output - but needed an adapter to vga as the monitor is not digital.
    I haven't used the HDMI.

I have noticed that the device manager lists my monitor as generic p and p - so I will now try and download the correct driver for my monitor..

I did all the windows updtaes previous to the new install - but didn't help.. Becaus it bsoded again on n ew install I haven't done the updates.

Does any of this help solve ?
